      Content: Welcome to Strak Media I am Currently a serving Army Photographer and Owner and Manager of Strak Media Becoming an Army Photographer means taking on a demanding selection course with competition from other highly skilled applicants with the waiting list being several years in some cases. Upon successful completion of the selection course, applicants are loaded onto the "Defence Photographer"​ course. This course teaches just about every aspect of photography; going in depth into the theory and science of light itself to the practicalities of studio work and the uncontrollable nature of action shots including riot control. From shooting passport photos to crawling inside jet engines to capture macro shots of circuit boards whilst casting no shadows, this course has ensured that I have the knowledge and experience to provide any just about picture imaginable, no matter how extreme. Army photographers are the eyes and documenters of the military actions that shape our times. Often working under difficult conditions, their iconic imagery captures moments in history, and very often the very deepest of human emotions with vivid honesty and clarity, making their work some of the most sought-after. Away from the military side of my job, I have been gathering experience in weddings, portraiture, on location shoots, media promotion and publicity work, and digital graphic art. I have now built up a string of happy customers with the most recent couple stating: "My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding photos. Michael captured more than just the key moments with details in every shot which tell the story and went the extra mile to make sure our wedding was captured as we wanted to remember it."
